bunq is seeking a (Senior) Technology Risk Officer in Amsterdam to own resilience of essential ICT systems and validate controls beyond compliance. You will design continuous tests, automate evidence gathering, and coordinate remediation across engineering, product, and operations to keep bunq secure and scalable.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, strong risk judgment, and close collaboration with stakeholders, with a culture of innovation and learning.

Responsibilities

• Continuously test and challenge bunq's ICT infrastructure to surface weaknesses before they affect users, and automate testing and evidence collection.
• When incidents occur, analyze root causes and prioritize remediation.
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery testing across tech, processes and suppliers.
• Coordinate with technical and business teams to drive remediation end‑to‑end, using AI to scale risk processes.
