Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Resilience Risk Officer (Tech) to drive digital resilience across the engineering landscape and embed strong IT risk practices within the tech teams in Amsterdam. You will champion governance, risk, and compliance with a practical, engineering-friendly approach, enabling rapid, reliable growth while safeguarding the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT risk management, second line risk, or tech risk consulting in a Big4 or similar.
• Experience in IT risk evaluations, resilience, incident management, and business continuity.
• Ability to explain availability risks and resilience to engineers and business stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of tech stack (hardware, software, networks, cloud/on-prem) for risk detection.
• Innovative, flexible, with strong process design and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute risk assessments across IT areas, projects, and assets and advise on risk actions.
• Collaborate with tech leadership to ensure resilience and IT excellence domains are represented in decisions.
• Drive second line risk oversight for technology risks and design risk indicators.
• Coordinate with other risk domains to incorporate IT risks into the risk profile for business objectives.
• Advise regulators in the context of IT resilience strategy and posture.
• Engage with regulators globally to clarify Adyen’s IT resilience program.
