Senior Technical Lifting Supervisor – Netherlands Projects

Job summary

TSL is seeking an experienced Technical Lifting Supervisor to lead lifting and vertical-transport delivery across Netherlands projects. You’ll establish standards, provide independent assurance, and challenge lift plans to ensure safe, efficient execution.

This role partners with Project Directors, Construction, Logistics and EHS to coordinate interfaces and ensure readiness for critical operations. Fluency in English is required, Dutch preferred, and travel across sites is expected.

Qualifications

• CPCS A61 appointed person for lifting operations is required.
• Experience reviewing crane strategies and lift plans with load data.
• Background with crane or heavy-lift providers preferred.
• Knowledge of Dutch lifting legislation and site controls.
• Strong English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Netherlands lifting standards and project assurance.
• Advise during tendering on crane selection, locations and access.
• Review lifting plans, crane strategies and risk assessments.
• Verify competence and documentation of crane providers and crews.
• Audit lifting operations and associated records.
• Attend critical lifts and coordinate interfaces across teams.
• Stop work when safety cannot be demonstrated and lead incident investigations.
• Provide training and briefings for lifting coordinators and delivery teams.
