Job description

Aeronamic B.V. develops, produces and maintains turbomachinery systems for aircraft. In addition to being internationally orientated, Aeronamic is also a state-of-the-art development company. Aeronamic is a modern company that distinguishes itself with lean business processes and a world-wide supply chain.

Product development at Aeronamic is focused on light weight and high speed electric compressors. Such compressors comprise three major items, i.e. electric compressors, power electronics and firmware. While specifically developed for aerospace, high-speed electric compressors can also be used for industrial and domestic applications. When used as a refrigerant compressor, they provide an excellent basis for the next generation of heat pumps that will be able to modulate the output temperature instantaneously. Such heat pumps are ideally suited to meet the European challenge of becoming CO2 neutral in 2050.

To strengthen our innovative product development team at the Technology Base in Enschede, Aeronamic is looking for an FPGA Design Engineer.

Activities

With your expertise as part of the development team you will perform the following activities:

  • Design, develop, implement and test firmware.
  • Develop supporting software tools for testing activities.
  • Execute research projects that expand our knowledge of new technologies.
  • Writing of documentation required for the certification of the products and for the capturing of acquired knowledge.
What we offer
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects which contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions by electrifying aerospace and industry.
  • Work in an innovative environment in a collaborative team of highly skilled professionals.
  • Very competitive compensation package, including salary, multiple yearly bonusses, generous pension plan, 40 vacation days and health insurance contribution.
