Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical/Avionics Engineer to join our aerospace team in the Netherlands. You will design, develop, integrate, and monitor electrical systems for airframes, contributing to safe and efficient aircraft solutions.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, 5+ years in the field, and familiarity with Do-178/160/254, EASA/FAA CS25/FAR25. Proactive, analytical, and collaborative, you will work with PMs, design teams, and vendors to advance

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop modifications to aircraft design per requirements.
• Monitor emerging technologies and translate into concept designs.
• Define system and project requirements supporting PM and leads.
• Integrate systems and create research, test, and system specs.
• Support system and aircraft testing activities.
• Prepare, review, and approve certification reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including PM, design org, vendors, customers.

Your missions

• Design, develop, integrate, and monitor electrical systems and avionics for aerospace projects
• Develop modifications to aircraft design in line with customer and airworthiness requirements
• Monitor emerging technologies, select potential applications, and translate them into concept designs
• Define system and project requirements, supporting product management and project leaders
• Integrate systems and create research, test, and system specifications
• Support system and aircraft testing activities
• Prepare, review, and approve certification reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders including product management, project leaders, design organization, vendors, and customers

Your profile

• Experience in electrical systems or avionics engineering
• Academic background: bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (electrical systems, avionics, or related field)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of system design and safety assessments
• Familiarity with Do178/160/254 design processes, qualification norms, EASA/FAA CS25/FAR25, and aeronautical standards
• Affinity with aircraft design, operations, and related systems
• English fluent. Dutch is a plus.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You demonstrate a proactive, professional attitude and collaborative spirit
