Job summary

AME, part of the Metis Group, in Brainport Eindhoven, seeks a Systems Architect to own technical solutions from definition to transfer to operations. You define requirements and high-level architecture, lead multi-disciplinary design, and ensure manufacturability while mitigating risks.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and R&D teams across electronics, embedded software and mechanics to deliver robust systems in fast-growing, high-tech projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level (BSc) in electronics, mechanics, software or related field.
• Around 10 years of working experience in R&D.
• Proactive, ownership mindset and responsible attitude.
• Strong communicator who can inspire teams.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into feasible designs.
• English fluency; Dutch knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in product development is advantageous.
• Works well in fast-growing, ambitious environments.

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements and create high-level system architecture.
• Lead decomposition of system requirements across electronics, embedded software and mechanics.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout development.
• Drive integration and validation of total system.
• Collaborate with project manager to align project, team and customer expectations.
