Job summary

Apex Group’s Holtara team in Amstelveen seeks a senior Sustainability & ESG Advisory professional who will lead client engagements, drive project execution, and foster strong commercial growth. You will manage complex assignments, advise senior clients, and help expand services across private markets.

You will guide a small team, develop deep expertise in sustainability topics, and collaborate with colleagues across Advisory, Holtara.io, and Apex Group to deliver impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of experience in sustainability consulting, ESG advisory, or related field.
• Extensive experience with financial sector clients (GPs/LPs) and managing complex engagements.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and lead proposals and pitch processes.
• Demonstrated depth in one or two sustainability themes; able to discuss complex topics with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in coaching and leading team members to deliver high-quality advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sustainability and ESG engagements from proposal to delivery.
• Serve as trusted advisor to investors, fund managers, financial institutions, and corporates.
• Translate sustainability issues into practical, commercially relevant solutions.
• Match Holtara offerings to client needs using the full advisory and technology toolkit.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with senior stakeholders and build long-term partnerships.
