Job summary

Holtara, part of the Apex Group, in Amsterdam, seeks a Senior Advisor for Sustainability & ESG to lead client engagements and advise financial-sector clients on value chain sustainability and ESG strategy.

You will manage day-to-day delivery, coach junior staff, and report to an Advisory Lead, working across Holtara's domains and technology platforms to deliver practical, commercially focused ESG solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in sustainability consulting, ESG advisory or related field.
• Experience with financial-sector clients (GP/LP) is highly valued.
• Ability to independently manage engagements and client relationships.
• Strong knowledge across ESG and sustainability domains and ability to work cross-verticals.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of sustainability and ESG engagements from proposal to delivery.
• Manage client contact with investors, fund managers, and corporates.
• Translate sustainability challenges into practical, commercially relevant solutions.
• Guide junior team members to deliver high-quality work.
• Collaborate with Advisory, Holtara.io and Apex Group teams to support clients.
