Job summary

Holtara, part of Apex Group, Amsterdam, is seeking a Senior Sustainability Advisor to lead client engagements in ESG advisory and sustainability programs. You will manage day-to-day projects for financial-sector clients, translate client needs into practical ESG solutions, and guide junior team members in a collaborative environment.

The role requires 4+ years in sustainability consulting, fluency in Dutch and English, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in sustainability consulting, ESG advisory, sustainable finance, or a related field.
Strong experience with financial-sector clients—private markets valued—managing engagements and client relationships.
Broad knowledge across ESG and sustainability domains with generalist cross-vertical capability.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day delivery of sustainability and ESG engagements from proposal through delivery.
Manage client stakeholders and day-to-day contact with investors, fund managers, and corporates.
Translate sustainability challenges into practical, commercially relevant solutions.
Coach junior team members and contribute to a collaborative advisory culture.
