Responsibilities

• Select appropriate engineering methods and procedures while optimizing structural designs in line with project specifications, international codes, and industry standards.
• Plan, manage, and complete engineering activities and deliverables within the agreed schedule and budget while ensuring proper system interfaces.
• Ensure that all deliverables within the Scope of Work comply with both contractual requirements and internal engineering standards.
• Apply lessons learned from previous projects and evaluate the impact of design changes across system and project boundaries.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties to ensure technical alignment and compliance with contractual and internal requirements.
• Take responsibility for technical packages as a Package Engineer, overseeing the design, procurement, and manufacturing of assigned packages.
• Lead and guide engineers within the assigned scope of work and support technical decision-making.
• Act as Discipline Lead for specific scopes of work when required.
• Perform structural design calculations for offshore topside structures such as modules, helidecks, flare towers, and hull integrations.
• Develop and verify structural calculations using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), in-house software tools, and manual engineering calculations.
• Collaborate with structural designers, multidisciplinary engineering teams, procurement, construction teams, and operations to deliver cost-effective and high-quality designs.
• Contribute to the engineering of offshore floating production systems, particularly FPSO and FLNG structures.
• Support proposal development, pre-FEED studies, and concept development for new offshore technologies and structural solutions.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore, Naval, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent professional certification)
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience
• Strong technical knowledge in structural analysis of offshore topside structures (conceptual, basic, and detailed design)
• Preferably, experience with design of topside facilities for floating production units (FSO, FPSO, FLNG, Semi, TLP)
• Familiarity with structural interfaces (piping, equipment, integration)
• Experience with classification society rules and structural design software (GeniE, SACS, Staad Pro)
• Professional English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Initiative, creativity, and a collaborative team mindset
• Willingness to travel
