Job summary

Monitor Deloitte – Strategy & Business Design in Amsterdam seeks a Director of Financial Services to drive customer-focused strategic growth and innovation for FS clients. You will lead a team of consultants, develop business with existing clients, identify new opportunities, and coordinate with Deloitte teams across functions.

You will work primarily for Dutch FS clients with opportunities to travel internationally.

Qualifications

8+ years of work experience in strategy consulting for Financial Services or a strategy role in Financial Services.
Deep understanding of current FS trends, challenges and opportunities.
Experience in business development, including acquiring new clients and expanding services.
Proficiency in English (and preferably Dutch).

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities and pursue value creation for clients in the Financial Services industry.
Act as the single point of contact with the client and manage communication and timelines.
Lead a team of consultants to ensure project delivery and development.
Identify new strategic opportunities for banking clients.
Cross-collaborate with clients and Deloitte teams across functions (e.g., M&A, Risk, Analytics).
Help develop the team through industry knowledge, social impact projects and recruitment activities.
Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders and stakeholders.
