Job summary

Lynx Beleggen in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Business Development Analyst to turn opportunities into solid business cases. You will size the opportunity, model revenue and costs, test assumptions against regulatory realities, and present a clear, defensible recommendation to the Business Development Manager and Management Team.

You will coordinate with Product, Finance, Compliance & Legal, Risk, Client Service, CDD/TM, ICT and Marketing, own the roadmap for approved initiatives, and drive them

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives with a commercial/strategic goal.
• Proven ability to build business or investment cases: market sizing, revenue and cost modelling.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills; able to defend a case under challenge.
• Experience with Legal and Compliance on regulated product launches or market entries.
• Experience coordinating external partners and C-level stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• University degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Business Development portfolio with size, cost estimates, owner and next decision date.
• Qualify new opportunities against criteria and record outcomes with reasons.
• Source opportunities from market monitoring, partners, internal teams and branches.
• Build end-to-end business cases including market sizing, revenue, costs and regulatory implications.
• Own assumptions and defend them under challenge.
• Coordinate with Product, Finance, Compliance & Legal, Risk, Client Service, CDD/TM, ICT and Marketing.
• Present recommendations including go/no-go options to management.
• Act as project manager for approved initiatives with roadmaps and milestones.
• Keep playbooks and BD standards sharp; leverage AI and automation where valuable.
