Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of an AI-enabled platform in a hybrid Netherlands setting. You will own infrastructure, automation, and observability, partnering with engineering teams to improve deployments and incident response.

The role requires strong SRE/DevOps background, cloud expertise (Google Cloud), and hands-on IaC and container orchestration experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive SRE/DevOps experience with scalable platforms.
• Proven cloud platform experience (Google Cloud).
• Experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform.
• Hands-on with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong monitoring, logging, and observability knowledge.
• Strong CI/CD automation and deployment discipline.
• Experience supporting production environments with high availability.
• Knowledge of AI/machine-learning infra is advantageous.

The Role

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
• Expertise with cloud platforms - Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform or similar technologies.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
• Experience supporting production environments with high availability requirements.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning infrastructure, or AI platform operations would be highly beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
