Job summary

Sioux is seeking a Software Tech Lead to provide day-to-day technical leadership for a software team working on high-tech products. The role is based from Apeldoorn with a hybrid model, offering room to work from home and a close collaboration with customers and the Development Center Manager.

You will guide architecture, set up CI/CD, and help the team meet timelines while delivering high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years in technical (embedded) software development with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum with structured team activities.
• Experience in software design/architecture and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Affinity with C, C++, C#, and/or Python on Linux or Windows.
• Knowledge of UML, Design Patterns, CAFCR, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction to the software team.
• Facilitate Scrum activities including sprint planning, reviews and demos.
• Safeguard and develop technical content: design, architecture, implementation decisions.
• Set up, maintain and improve the software development environment and CI/CD.
• Communicate with customers and the Development Center Manager.
• Monitor progress, quality, risks, and technical coherence; initiate fixes.
• Contribute to software development as a senior engineer when appropriate.
