Job summary

PREZIS is seeking a Software Architect to own the software architecture behind Counter-UAS sensor fusion and geolocation platforms. You will connect diverse sensors (radar, optical, acoustic) and design interfaces, data flows, and components while staying hands-on with critical software components.

You will work with engineers and partners to ensure robust, scalable, and real-world applicable architectures. Prior experience in ROS2, Linux, and defense-related systems is valuable.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field (CS/SE/EE/Robotics).
• Strong experience in software architecture or complex system design.
• Experience with C++, Rust, Python; Linux-based development environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve software architecture for Counter-UAS sensor integration, fusion, tracking, and geolocation.
• Translate requirements into architectures, interfaces, components, and data flows.
• Guide engineers on architectural choices and review designs and implementations.
• Contribute hands-on to critical software components and prototypes.
• Define testing and validation approaches for architecture, sensors, and fusion.
