Job summary

PREZIS in the Netherlands seeks an R&D Engineer to integrate sensors, fuse data, and advance detection and situational awareness for Counter-UAS platforms. You will own software components that process and correlate data from radar, optical, acoustic, and other sensors, contributing to geolocation and tracking within C2 systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with C++, Rust, or Python software development.
• Knowledge of sensor fusion, signal processing, and tracking algorithms.
• Understanding Kalman filtering and coordinate transformations.
• Experience with Linux-based development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate third-party sensors into PREZIS’ Counter-UAS platforms.
• Develop interfaces between radar, optical, acoustic, and other sensor systems.
• Design software components for sensor data acquisition, processing and integration.
• Build sensor fusion and tracking components within processing pipelines.
• Test and validate solutions in lab and real-world environments.
• Document developments, test results and system performance.
