Job summary

Adyen is seeking a Senior Service Designer for Platform Engineering to enhance the end-to-end developer experience across internal tools, workflows, and platform capabilities. You’ll bridge strategy and execution, shaping a cohesive developer experience across about 1,500 engineers and beyond.

Join a greenfield-style practice, work across the Developer Center, and influence roadmaps with engineering and product leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in design overall, including 3+ years in service design.
• Experience navigating complex software/hardware environments.
• Proven track record of using service design to simplify workflows in SaaS or B2B products.

Responsibilities

• Build the service ecosystem for Platform Engineering and map end-to-end service journeys.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems and teams.
• Enable design thinking at scale by coaching product and engineering teams.
• Shape AI-enabled developer experiences across discovery, self-service, troubleshooting, and docs.
• Define a clear service strategy balancing user needs with technical constraints.
• Consult on UX/UI excellence and align features with platform logic.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Data Analytics to turn data into action.
