Job summary

Everience Benelux is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to enhance team autonomy, maturity and delivery reliability across multiple teams within a SAFe framework.

The role requires coaching at scale, facilitating change, and using data-driven metrics to drive improvements in a rapidly evolving environment. Dutch language proficiency is essential for this position in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level education (HBO) required.
• 7+ years of demonstrable experience as Scrum Master in agile roles.
• Proven experience coaching and supporting at least three teams simultaneously.
• Experience as a Scrum Master within complex IT and business environments.
• Excellent command of Dutch (written and spoken).
• Experience in SAFe or similar scaled agile frameworks.
• PSM II certification or equivalent.
• Strong change management and organizational development skills.
• Experience with data-driven improvement based on flow and delivery metrics.
• Strong analytical and systemic thinking abilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams.

Job Description

As a Senior Scrum Master, you support multiple teams in increasing their autonomy, maturity, and delivery reliability. At the same time, you look beyond individual teams and work on improvements across the entire value stream, collaborating with the RTE on the continuous improvement of the foundation. You are an experienced change agent who makes patterns visible, does not shy away from difficult conversations, and delivers sustainable improvements. Based on your experience, you know when to facilitate, coach, advise, or intervene firmly. You are not evaluated on organizing ceremonies, but on the sustainable improvements you achieve for teams and the organization. You help the business area continuously improve its ability to deliver value more effectively and predictably in a constantly evolving environment.

Your responsibilities include:

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's level working and thinking ability (HBO level);
• At least 7 years of demonstrable experience in an agile role as a Scrum Master;
• Proven experience coaching and supporting at least three teams simultaneously;
• Experience as a Scrum Master within complex IT and business environments;
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken;
• Experience working in a SAFe environment or a comparable scaled agile framework;
• Minimum PSM II certification;
• Strong change management capabilities and experience with organizational development;
• Experience with data-driven improvement based on flow and delivery metrics.
• Strong analytical skills combined with a systemic perspective;
• Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge constructively, and collaborate effectively across teams and disciplines.
