Lead SAP S/4HANA Transformation Programmes

Our client, a global technology and consulting organisation, is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA ABAP Architect to play a pivotal role in the technical design and delivery of large-scale SAP transformation initiatives across enterprise customers.

This is a senior architecture position for someone who combines deep SAP technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for driving innovation within complex business environments.

What You'll Be Doing

• Define and govern SAP solution architecture across S/4HANA programmes
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical designs
• Lead architectural discussions and provide technical direction to distributed delivery teams
• Drive the design, development and optimisation of SAP ABAP solutions within S/4HANA environments
• Support technical assessments, feasibility studies and solution roadmaps
• Ensure best practices are applied across integration, performance optimisation and application development
• Mentor development teams and contribute to technical governance activitiesWork closely with onshore and offshore teams to deliver complex enterprise solutions

What We're Looking For

• Extensive SAP experience with significant exposure to SAP ABAP and SAP S/4HANA
• Proven experience operating in an Architect or Lead Technical Consultant capacity
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development including REST API, CDS Views and OData Services (V2/V4)
• Strong experience in Adobe form development
• Additional experience with Eclipse, ADLC tool, AMDP, CDS, BRF+, BOPF, REST API, SOAP API
• Strong experience of ABAP/4 development using reports
• Understanding of ABAP/4 development and implementation for scrips, custom reports and user enhancements
• Experience working within global delivery models and large enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
