SAP Program Transformation Director - S/4HANA Transformation

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Program Transformation Director to lead large-scale enterprise SAP transformation initiatives with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA implementations. This leadership role will be responsible for driving end-to-end transformation programs, aligning business strategy with technology, and delivering successful SAP modernization initiatives across multiple business functions and geographies.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex SAP transformation programs, managing executive stakeholders, and delivering multiple full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide SAP transformation and digital modernization programs.
• Define and execute SAP S/4HANA transformation roadmaps.
• Manage end-to-end program delivery, including planning, governance, budget, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with C-level executives, business leaders, and IT organizations to align transformation objectives.
• Drive business process standardization and optimization across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Sales functions.
• Oversee system integrators, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
• Establish program governance, PMO standards, reporting structures, and transformation methodologies.
• Manage large global project teams and distributed delivery organizations.
• Ensure program delivery meets quality, timeline, budget, and business value objectives.
• Lead organizational change management, business readiness, training, and adoption strategies.
• Provide executive-level reporting and decision-making support to steering committees.

Required Experience

• 15+ years of SAP consulting, program management, or transformation leadership experience.
• Proven experience as SAP Program Director, Transformation Director, Program Manager, or Portfolio Lead.
• Successfully delivered multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Extensive experience with Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition approaches.
• Experience managing transformation budgets exceeding £10M/$10M.
• Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Experience leading global teams across multiple regions and time zones.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with exposure to C-suite executives and board-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• SAP Certification(s) highly desirable.
• PMP, Prince2, MSP, or equivalent Program Management certification preferred.
