Job summary

Spot On Staffing is seeking a Program Architect S/4HANA to own end-to-end architectural delivery for an SAP S/4HANA transformation. You will connect business priorities with enterprise guardrails and steer teams towards a coherent target landscape across SAP domains and related integration, data, security and platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's level education or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience as program/enterprise/domain lead architect in large SAP S/4HANA transformations.
• Strong end-to-end SAP architecture knowledge across domains, integrations, data, authorizations and non-functional requirements.
• Experience from discovery and target-state design through build, testing, cutover, go-live and hyper care.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core, extension choices and integration patterns, preferably SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, governance and Agile/DevOps delivery.
• Strong influencing, facilitation and communication skills in English; Dutch is an advantage.

Job description

In this role, you own and drive the end-to-end architecture delivery on ERP level with a strong focus on the SAP S/4HANA program across work streams, from target state direction and non functional requirements to build ready designs and go live readiness.

Responsibilities

As Program Architect S/4HANA, you provide end-to-end architectural leadership for the SAP S/4HANA transformation. You connect business priorities, work stream needs and enterprise guardrails, and steer teams and partners towards a coherent target landscape across the SAP domains and related integration, data, security and platform capabilities.

Your key responsibilities

• Architecture direction, steering and gatekeeping
• Own the program level target architecture, principles and transition roadmap from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Guide the program & key (senior) stakeholders) and implementation partners in applying the agreed architecture direction and standards.
• Act as architecture gatekeeper: assess solution proposals before build, challenge deviations and prevent choices that create enterprise risk, inconsistency or avoidable technical debt.
• Safeguard Clean Core, standard-over-custom, security, integration, data ownership and
• Translate business needs and non-functional requirements into coherent, implementable end-to-end solution direction.
• Assure designs across processes, data, authorizations, reporting and integrations, and resolve cross stream dependencies.
• Provide build-ready guidance and support design reviews, testing, cutover, go/no-go and hyper care.

• Act as escalation point for complex issues and advise program leadership on scope, risk, dependencies and trade-offs.
• Communicate decisions clearly through concise diagrams, decision records and stakeholder discussions.

• Proven experience as program, enterprise, domain or lead solution architect in a large SAP S/4HANA transformation.
• Strong end-to-end SAP architecture knowledge across functional domains, integrations, data, authorizations and non-functional requirements.

• Practical knowledge of SAP Clean Core, extension choices and integration patterns, preferably including SAP BTP.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, governance and Agile/DevOps delivery.
