Job summary

DLA Piper LLP is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to lead and execute QA across SAP ecosystems and integrated applications within Finance and HR systems automation. The role combines leadership with hands-on testing, driving automation and quality across complex enterprise landscapes.

You will champion quality, maintain strong stakeholder relationships and mentor teams in modern QA practices, including AI-assisted testing and automation frameworks, in a globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

10-12+ years in Quality Engineering, Test Automation and programme delivery in large enterprises.
Proven experience across the full QA lifecycle: strategy, planning, automation, execution and release management.
Strong knowledge of SAP change, transport and release processes.
Extensive experience in test automation and CI/CD in SAP and integrated landscapes.
Hands-on with Tosca, Playwright, API automation and other enterprise automation tools.
Experience testing complex end-to-end business processes across SAP and integrated systems.
Strong API, integration, and UI testing across large ecosystems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management; capable of translating tech concepts for non-tech audiences.
Proven ability to lead and mentor QA and non-QA teams in automation and modern QA practices.
Agile and DevOps fluency; promote best practices across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end QA across SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Concur and integrated apps.
Shape test strategies, standards and governance for successful change and releases.
Provide SME leadership on automation tools and frameworks; drive adoption SAP CoE-wide.
Champion automation-first approach; build scalable automation frameworks and CI/CD solutions.
Ensure traceability from requirements to test outcomes with meaningful metrics and risk visibility.
Partner with business, IT and vendors to drive alignment and deliver value.
Drive continuous improvement in quality, automation and delivery maturity.
Coach and upskill QA and non-QA teams in automation and AI-assisted testing.
