Job summary

12Build is seeking a highly autonomous leader to own the automated testing platform and CI infrastructure, enabling rapid yet safe releases. You will shape the test architecture across our NL, BE, DK and DE markets while coaching teams in writing robust E2E tests within your platform.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, advanced test strategies, and collaboration with product teams to maintain fast release velocity in a scalable SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• An organized, methodical, and flexible team player with a clear vision for test automation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with product teams and QA colleagues.
• Proactive, hands-on leader with independent work ethic and deep debugging for root causes.
• Drives CI testing phases with well-structured processes.
• Analytically minded and eager to learn, up-to-date with new methodologies (LLM-as-a-judge).
• Proven experience in software development or testing with robust test platform architectures.

Responsibilities

• System & Architecture: design the test framework, manage test data lifecycles, and build a cross-team smoke suite for NL, BE, DK, DE.
• Tech-Lead & Coaching: coach and support teams in writing local E2E tests within the platform.
• Execution & Communication: translate exploratory testing insights into automated regression coverage with colleagues.
• Autonomous Future: calibrate confidence in transitioning to fully autonomous product development.
