Job summary

Leadout Capital in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to support Life Sciences customers across EMEA North, from a base in the Netherlands. You will act as a strategic advisor and Salesforce platform expert to pharma, biotech and medtech organisations.

The role blends hands-on technical work with consulting and leadership, guiding multiple delivery teams, shaping architecture decisions, and ensuring compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise architecture or technical consulting, incl. 4+ years leading Salesforce projects.
• Experience delivering tech solutions for pharma/biotech/medtech sectors.
• Strong Salesforce application design, data modelling, and security skills.
• Hands-on configuration and development, including Salesforce customization and OO coding.
• Experience with APIs, integration patterns, data migration, and connected enterprise apps.
• Delivery in regulated environments with privacy, consent and validation requirements.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and decisions across distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation for senior leaders.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA North and international when needed.
• Professional working fluency in English.
• Experience evaluated against core role competencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to Life Sciences customers, aligning objectives with Salesforce architecture and delivery roadmaps.
• Lead architecture for complex engagements and coordinate architects across teams.
• Translate healthcare workflows into practical Salesforce design.
• Design data, integration and security architectures linking Salesforce with enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with privacy, security and regulatory teams on controls and governance.
• Review deliverables for performance, scalability and maintainability; guide development.
• Shape migration and rollout plans across regions and legacy systems.
• Work with project managers to plan delivery and manage risks.
• Evaluate AI and automation use cases with clients.
• Mentor partners and colleagues; support pre-sales activities.
