Job summary

Delta Electronics EMEA is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to grow its Energy Infrastructure business in Europe, focusing on Energy Storage System applications across commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering and 3–5 years of energy storage experience, with fluent German and English. Travel and driving license are expected components of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, power system engineering, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience with Energy Storage Systems and excellent technical knowledge of Energy Storage Systems and system integration.
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to support the sales process by providing technical expertise and product knowledge to clients in the account or industry.
• Understand client requirements and pain points to propose products or solutions that address needs.
• Collaborate with sellers to develop technical proposals, respond to RFPs, and negotiate terms from a technical perspective through hands-on selling.
• Provide deep product and solutions knowledge with industry know-how; work with marketing to provide technical simulations showing Delta’s capabilities.
• Support customer relationship management and drive deal closure by demonstrating product value and feasibility as a trusted advisor.
• Bridge customer technical requirements with the solution management and development team for short-term fixes or long-term enhancements.
• Assist with site surveys of customer projects with technical teams, partners, and customers.
• Monitor local grid codes, legislation, standards, market trends and identify new market opportunities.
