Job summary

Quiet Capital is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Key Insight team in Eindhoven. You will play a critical role in coding in Rust while designing and maintaining our observability platform, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud security solutions.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience, strong backend skills, and familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs. We offer a collaborative work environment and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in building backend systems in Rust.
• Strong backend experience with distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Understanding of observability concepts such as monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Experience with database architecture, scaling, and optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Turn product requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
• Build and run backend microservices and REST APIs for our observability platform.
• Analyze and fix performance and scalability issues in distributed systems.
• Design and evolve database architecture for scalable, reliable data access.
• Drive high code quality through reviews and a strong focus on stability and security.
