Job summary

Intelic is building the platform that lets partners connect their own hardware and write drivers for unmanned systems. You will design robust Rust-based APIs and drive backend architecture with a hands-on approach to testing against simulated hardware.

Join a small, startup-like team in Amsterdam, contributing from the ground up to accelerate hardware integration across drones and robotics platforms.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of engineering experience in heavy backend languages.
• Experience designing and maintaining platform APIs used by multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the platform in Rust.
• Define APIs for cameras, gimbals, servos and other hardware.
• Enable others to write drivers without ongoing support from your team.
• Plan module integration and handle edge cases for future use.
• Write unit tests and integration tests, including simulated hardware.
• Collaborate with other teams to align interfaces and requirements.
• Help set up the team and ensure a smooth handover when the platform is stable.
