Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Ruby Developer (Ruby & Go) based in the Netherlands for a fully remote backend role focused on secure, scalable payment infrastructure in a global fintech environment.

You will own backend services, integrate multiple payment providers, and design end-to-end deposit and withdrawal workflows while maintaining PCI DSS compliance and high reliability. Mentorship and technical leadership for an international team are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience in API-driven environments.
• Production-level Ruby on Rails experience; Go experience preferred.
• Experience integrating payment service providers and financial APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own backend services using Ruby on Rails and Go.
• Lead integration of payment providers and methods.
• Develop end-to-end deposit and withdrawal workflows.
• Ensure security, PCI DSS compliance, and reliability.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
