Job summary

Rituals in Amsterdam seeks a (Senior) Regulatory Specialist for Southeast Asia and new markets to ensure products launch and stay compliant across expanding international markets. You translate country requirements into scalable compliance solutions and lead registration, notification and market-entry activities from assessment through maintenance.

At senior level, you act as SME, coach colleagues, shape approaches where no framework exists, and drive complex cross-functional projects across QA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Law, Chemistry, Life Sciences or a related field.
• 3–5 years of regulatory affairs experience, cosmetics or FMCG preferred.
• Experience with international product compliance and SEA markets.
• Ability to independently structure ambiguous issues into clear frameworks, options and decisions.
• Strong project-management and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end regulatory readiness for SEA markets and selected new-country launches.
• Develop practical market-entry compliance strategies, roadmaps and requirements frameworks.
• Assess product and portfolio compliance and drive proportionate mitigation with stakeholders.
• Coordinate preparation, review, legalization and submission of regulatory dossiers, declarations and certificates.
• Review artwork and labeling for legal and safety information before market introduction.
• Act as primary regulatory contact for assigned markets, partnering with local teams and authorities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and convert changes into impact assessments and guidance.
• Lead cross-functional market-entry projects, managing dependencies and risks.
• Maintain complete audit-ready regulatory records in relevant systems.
• Create reusable tools, standards and processes to improve consistency and speed.
• Provide expert advice and escalate non-routine questions.
• Coach colleagues and share market/process knowledge.
