Job summary

Deloitte Netherlands is seeking a Senior Consultant in Regulatory Risk & Compliance within the Financial Sector. You will support banks, FinTechs and insurers with risk strategies under frameworks like DORA, ESG, CSRD, and MiCAR, while leading multidisciplinary teams and pursuing new business opportunities.

You will mentor juniors, contribute to internal service offerings, and help clients adapt to regulatory changes using data- and AI-driven approaches.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial services and/or consulting.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and requirements (DORA, ESG, CSRD, EU Taxonomy, Wft, Wwft, MiCAR).
• Experience leading projects and teams in multidisciplinary settings.
• Ability to identify and pursue commercial opportunities with clients and contribute to proposals.
• Strong interest in AI, data, and technology applied to compliance and risk challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support financial institutions in developing and implementing risk and regulatory strategies.
• Translate complex risk challenges into practical, innovative solutions.
• Lead initiatives, write project proposals, and expand client relationships.
• Mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge across projects.
