Job summary

Deloitte Netherlands is seeking a Consultant to help financial institutions meet evolving regulations, manage risk, and drive innovative, compliant business models in a dynamic regulatory environment.

You will work with banks, payment institutions, FinTechs, asset managers and insurers, applying data and technology to regulatory challenges while developing expertise in AI and governance. Excellent Dutch and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in consulting, banking, a regulatory authority or FinTech.
• Knowledge of risk management, regulation, AI and technology.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership in multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Help financial institutions develop and implement strategies that address new and existing regulations, with a focus on operational risk and integrity, digital financial regulation, and consumer protection.
• Help clients innovate their business models, develop new products and enter new markets.
• Address shortcomings in internal processes and systems related to regulatory requirements, using data and technology to tackle compliance challenges more effectively and innovatively.
• Balance the intent of laws and regulations with the business strategies of our financial services clients.
• Improve risk management across organisations and programmes.
• Contribute to internal service offerings and committees within the Regulatory, Data & Reporting team, and develop your skills through training programmes.
