Job summary

Tellent is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer for the Tellent Intelligence team to own and grow AI-powered testing. You will shape how we test AI experiences and expand end-to-end Playwright coverage, working closely with AI engineers and developers to ensure reliable, safe products.

This hands-on role offers genuine ownership, impact on product development, and the opportunity to advance our testing strategy for LLM-powered applications across domains.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on quality engineering for complex web apps.
• Experience testing AI-powered applications or ML systems is a strong plus.
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end test suites in Playwright.
• Experience testing APIs and backend services.
• Ability to discuss product behavior and zoom into technical detail.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI agents, hallucinations, and safety principles is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to define quality expectations for variable outputs.
• Fluent English communication; Polish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Quality Engineers to implement and improve the test automation strategy across the Tellent Intelligence domain.
• Partner with developers, AI engineers, and QEs to embed quality early in development.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and automated suites for frontend, backend, and AI-powered features.
• Develop into a product domain expert to guide quality decisions.
• Design and execute testing strategies for AI features, validating correctness, quality, relevance, and safety of AI outputs.
• Create evaluation datasets and quality benchmarks for non-deterministic systems; identify bias, hallucinations, and regressions.
• Validate prompt changes, AI agent behavior, and safety guardrails with engineers.
• Help establish best practices, quality metrics, and testing frameworks for LLM-powered apps.
