Job summary

TOPdesk is seeking a Senior Agentic Quality Engineer to design and own automated test suites across platform interfaces, collaborating with Claude Code as the primary testing partner.

You will lead efforts to move testing maturity up the curve, build agentic quality infrastructure, and ensure tests remain traceable to intended behaviour while managing risk with human oversight. The role emphasizes ownership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test or quality engineering with ownership of automated test suites.
• Strong API and integration testing skills.
• Hands-on Claude Code experience.
• CI/CD fluency.
• Writes acceptance criteria with no ambiguity.
• Comfort with data-adjacent testing.
• Fluent English for clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test suites across your team's interfaces and surfaces.
• Write integration and contract tests ensuring correctness and contract stability.
• Bring advanced quality practices: property-based testing, fuzzing, mutation testing, contract testing, non-functional testing, production signals.
• Assess non-functional risks: performance, data consistency, access control, migration safety, backward compatibility.
• Investigate failing builds: triage root cause and distinguish product bugs from brittleness.
