Job summary

AppWork seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to own automated test coverage across web, mobile, and APIs. You will work with R&D squads to ship reliable software for property managers, maintenance teams, and residents, helping to catch issues before customers see them.

You will design and maintain tests for web portals, the Technician App (iOS/Android with offline scenarios), and backend APIs, while shaping automation strategy and CI/CD pipelines across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
• Comfortable reading and writing code (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines (Playwright, Cypress, Postman, GitHub Actions).
• Strong risk instinct and ability to write clear bug reports and test plans.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites across Web Portal, Technician App, and APIs.
• Partner with engineers to build testability into new features from day one.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and prioritize automation by risk and impact.
• Investigate, reproduce, and document bugs; verify fixes with automation.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD test pipelines for rapid feedback.
• Test integrations to ensure work orders and status sync both directions.
• Contribute to test strategy for AI features and scalable quality practices.
