Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software QA engineer to own testing for web frontend/backend across the European market. You will analyze requirements, design test plans, execute manual and automated tests, and ensure release readiness for global platforms.

This 12-month fixed-term role requires ISTQB-level thinking, Python/Selenium automation, and strong communication in English within an agile, distributed team environment.

Qualifications

• ISTQB certification or equivalent experience.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and reliability.
• Strong Web/Mobile UI testing experience.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum environments and version control (Git).
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence for requirements/defect management and knowledge of data formats (JSON, XML, YAML) and API testing.
• Experience with Python and Selenium in test framework contexts.
• Knowledge of relational databases/SQL and working with geographically distributed teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Analysts/Developers to analyze requirements and specify test suites.
• Initiate and own test execution using manual and automation techniques.
• Monitor test status and quality metrics to support Go/No-Go decisions.
• Adapt test coverage to changing requirements and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate defect lifecycles and retest fixes with the development team.
• Balance manual/exploratory testing with automation to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain and expand regression test suites using Python/Selenium framework.
