Job summary

Workwize Group is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to elevate our Laravel and React platform with automated end-to-end and API testing. You will work closely with developers to improve quality and ensure robust integrations, delivering a high-quality user experience.

This role emphasizes a shift-left mindset, writing Cypress and Playwright tests, and contributing to CI/CD automation while maintaining existing features and exploring new ones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
• Automation testing experience is non negotiable.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience with Postman API testing suite and Cypress & Playwright.
• Familiarity with Github Actions and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AWS services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with our product roadmap.
• Promote a shift-left testing culture from early design stages.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to apply the strategy.
• Work with SDLC to provide feedback on testability and code quality.
• Manage bugs, incidents and root cause analyses; improve quality practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated end-to-end and integration tests for Laravel and React.
• Develop and manage API test suites to validate backend functionality.
• Leverage Cypress and Playwright to automate high-value test scenarios.
• Scale test automation infrastructure to accelerate CI/CD workflows.
