Job summary

VTTI B.V. Rotterdam is seeking a Project Manager to safely deliver the Jet Fuel Conversion Project converting Tanks T402, T403 and T404 to Jet A-1 service. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate interfaces in a live terminal, and ensure ongoing operations remain safe and compliant.

The role covers the full lifecycle from detailed engineering to handover, with a focus on schedule, budget, safety and quality across mechanical, piping, electrical and automation scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or relevant engineering.
• At least 10 years of project execution experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, energy or bulk liquid storage facilities.
• At least 7 years of experience leading brownfield projects in operating facilities.
• Demonstrated delivery responsibility for multidisciplinary capital projects in the EUR 5 million to EUR 20 million range.
• Strong experience in mechanical and piping works, tank modifications, E&I, automation, commissioning and contractor management.
• Working knowledge of process safety, hazardous-area requirements, operational interfaces and Management of Change.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from detailed engineering through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary team and interfaces in a live terminal environment to maintain safety and operations.
• Prepare and manage project governance, schedule, budget, risks and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
