Job summary

Orion Group Life Sciences, based in Breda, is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Technology & Digital Manufacturing Innovation, to lead technology workstreams supporting manufacturing expansion, modernization and readiness in a multinational pharma/biotech setting.

This 12-month hybrid role requires onsite presence at least 3 days per week, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver end-to-end manufacturing tech solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in manufacturing technology, automation, digital solutions, IT/OT, or capital projects.
• Experience delivering projects through design, implementation, qualification, validation, and handover.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong planning, stakeholder management, communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional and matrix teams.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology and digital manufacturing projects from initiation through operational handover.
• Define scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, governance, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• Manage project execution, priorities, scope changes, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate requirements, design reviews, testing, validation, qualification, and release activities.
• Ensure alignment between business needs, technical solutions, site standards, and enterprise architecture.
• Drive resolution of technical, operational, and cross-functional issues.
• Maintain project controls including scope, schedule, budget, risks, actions, and dependencies.
• Confirm ownership, support, documentation, training, and lifecycle management prior to go-live.
