Job summary

A global biopharmaceutical company with a major manufacturing site in Breda is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology and digital manufacturing projects from concept through implementation and handover.

You will coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, IT/OT, Quality and Validation teams, manage external vendors, ensure GMP, validation and data integrity, and drive projects to go‑live in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience in manufacturing technology, automation or capital projects.
• Experience delivering projects through design, implementation, qualification/validation and handover.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills; ability to communicate complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex manufacturing technology and digital projects from initiation to completion.
• Establish scope, planning milestones, resources, risks and dependencies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, IT/OT, Quality and Validation.
• Drive technology implementation, system integration, testing, qualification and deployment.
• Manage external vendors, suppliers and system integrators.
• Lead project meetings, workshops, design reviews and decision‑making sessions.
• Monitor progress, budget, risks, issues and changes; take corrective actions.
• Ensure projects meet GMP, validation, cybersecurity and data integrity expectations.
• Prepare teams and systems for go‑live and handover to operations.
• Provide clear updates and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
