Job summary

People in Science is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology and digital manufacturing initiatives in a highly regulated pharma environment. You will oversee manufacturing expansion, new packaging lines, modernization of production areas, automation, IT/OT and digital manufacturing technologies.

You will coordinate multiple workstreams and specialists in a matrix organization, without direct hierarchical authority, while ensuring GMP, qualification, validation and change

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience.
• Strong experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
• GMP experience is preferred.
• Proven experience leading complex technology, manufacturing, automation or IT/OT projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initiation through implementation and handover.
• Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, IT/OT, Quality, Validation and Operations.
• Manage scope, planning, risks, dependencies and priorities.

• Ensure projects are delivered while manufacturing operations continue.
• Drive decision-making, issue resolution and project governance.

Project Manager – Technology & Digital Manufacturing

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology and digital manufacturing projects within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

You will lead projects related to manufacturing expansion, new packaging lines, modernization of existing production areas, automation, IT/OT and digital manufacturing technologies.

You will coordinate multiple workstreams, specialists, vendors and stakeholders in a complex matrix organization. You don’t need to be the technical expert yourself; technical specialists and architects are available to support the projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initiation through implementation and handover.
• Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, IT/OT, Quality, Validation and Operations.
• Manage scope, planning, risks, dependencies and priorities.
• Lead multiple specialists and workstreams without direct hierarchical responsibility.
• Manage stakeholders from senior leadership to operational teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered while manufacturing operations continue.
• Drive decision-making, issue resolution and project governance.
• Ensure GMP, qualification, validation and change management requirements are addressed.

Your Profile

• 8+ years of project management experience
• Strong experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred
• GMP experience is preferred
• Proven experience leading complex technology, manufacturing, automation or IT/OT projects.
• Experience with manufacturing expansion, modernization or new production lines is a plus
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership without formal authority.
• Comfortable working in complex matrix organizations.

Experience from other highly regulated industries such as aviation or medical devices may also be considered.

• A yearly gross salary of €118,000 gross per year + bonus opportunity
• Full-time position with long-term potential
