Job summary

Tecson is seeking a Senior Project Manager Data Center to lead complex electrical infrastructure projects, from award to commissioning, headquartered in The Hague with international travel. • Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch is advantageous.

Job description

As a Senior Project Manager Data Center, you will be ultimately responsible for complex electrical infrastructure projects, from contract award through final delivery and commissioning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing international low- and medium-voltage power distribution projects
• Acting as the customer’s primary point of contact throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Leading multidisciplinary and internationally distributed project teams
• Managing project schedules, budgets, scope, contractual obligations, and risks
• Coordinating Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
• Ensuring technical quality and the successful delivery of each project
• Promoting and maintaining a strong Health, Safety & Environment culture
• Working closely with engineering, procurement, logistics, finance, and site execution teams
• Managing projects involving advanced low- and medium-voltage technologies, including switchgear, busbar systems, modular e-houses, and protection systems
• Travelling internationally when required by the projects

As a Senior Project Manager Data Center, you will be given a high level of ownership and responsibility. From the organization’s base in The Hague, you will play a central role in delivering critical power infrastructure for leading international data center operators.

For this Senior Project Manager Data Center position, we are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:

• A successfully completed bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Technology, or a closely related technical field; this is a mandatory minimum requirement
• At least seven years of experience as a project manager in electrical engineering or power distribution
• Proven experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects
• Strong customer-facing skills and extensive stakeholder-management experience
• PMP or IPMA certification
• A VCA VOL certificate or an equivalent safety qualification
• Solid knowledge of low- and medium-voltage systems
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Dutch as an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally for approximately 25% of the time
• The ability or willingness to work regularly from The Hague
