Job summary

Koninklijke Vopak N.V. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its BESS initiatives. You will lead large, end-to-end projects from development through handover, coordinating with BoP contractors, grid operators, and investors to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years of project leadership in energy or infrastructure, EPC experience, and fluency in English. A hybrid work model is offered with the Breda office as the base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in energy, infrastructure, construction, or industrial CapEx projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead large and complex work packages from ready-to-build through execution, commissioning, handover, and close-out.
• Ensure scope, contracting strategy, budget, schedule, and risk are mature before execution.
• Own safety, planning, budget, and quality.
• Coordinate interfaces between contractors, suppliers, grid operator, and internal teams.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigations.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements.
• Keep management and investors informed with progress reports.
