Job summary

Osprey Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering solutions for heavy lift, transportation, installation and marine operations across nationwide projects in the Netherlands. You will mentor Project Engineers and Graduate Engineers while coordinating with clients and site teams to deliver technically robust outcomes.

The role reports to the Technical Director and focuses on delivering high-quality drawings, calculations, and risk assessments with strong governance

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in an Engineering discipline (Masters preferred).
• Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale construction or heavy lift projects across transportation, lifting, installing or marine scopes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative engineering solutions within heavy lift, transport or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of engineering solutions across heavy lift, transportation, installation and marine operations.
• Own complex engineering deliverables including drawings, calculations, visualisations, methodologies and risk assessments.
• Drive operational engineering delivery both in office and on-site, ensuring safe, efficient execution that meets client expectations.
• Oversee and review the work of project and graduate engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Act as a primary technical interface for clients and site teams, leading meetings and site visits.
• Develop and approve engineering statements, selecting methodologies for lifting and transport challenges.
• Uphold technical standards and governance across the full project lifecycle.
