Job summary

Restart BV is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – EX Lead for a leading floating production client. The role centers on delivering complex projects with strong Ex compliance oversight across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines.

A minimum of 10 years’ experience and proven leadership are essential to guide multidisciplinary teams through all project phases. The incumbent will coordinate Ex-related interfaces, maintain the Ex project matrix, and ensure the Ex assurance framework

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in project engineering within oil & gas.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong analytical and communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Oversee Ex compliance activities across the project lifecycle.
Coordinate surveillance and support of Ex activities (Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction).
Manage interfaces between disciplines/projects for Ex compliance.
Issue monthly Ex project matrix and dashboard with accuracy.
Deliver and maintain the Project Ex Assurance Plan and Ex specifications.
Coordinate with Ex data-coordinator to cover all reporting needs.
Ensure Ex requirements are understood by CONTRACTOR/YARD and suppliers.
Maintain supplier Ex Compliance surveillance and QA at project level.
Collaborate with Construction Quality Managers and Site Ex Lead on Ex requirements.
