Job summary

Canpack Netherlands is seeking a Production Line Manager to oversee and optimize the assigned production line. You will lead a team of Production Supervisors, drive KPIs, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and coordinate development aligned with the group’s standards.

You will monitor processes, enforce GMP and 5S, and implement continuous improvement. Strong leadership and 10–15 years of manufacturing experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must-have experience in can making industry.
• Secondary technical education in relevant fields; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10–15 years in manufacturing, currently in a team leader or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strategic and operational thinking for production optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
• Effective cross-functional communication.
• Training and talent development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Production Supervisors on the designated line.
• Oversee activities across the line to meet quality, safety and KPI targets.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure output, quality and delivery targets are achieved.
• Coordinate employee development and align training with company standards.
• Maintain product quality through process checks and timely corrective actions.
• Identify and resolve production issues to sustain continuity.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote a high-performance culture and coach the team.
• Participate in short- and long-term operational planning with the Operations Manager.
• Coordinate shift handovers, scheduling, holidays and overtime.
• Ensure GMP compliance and 5S standards, plus Continuous Improvement.
