Job summary

Van Oord is seeking a Senior Production Engineer Foundations and WTGs in Gorinchem, NL. You will guide production estimates in tendering, or support project teams with execution, and drive improvements in tendering approaches.

You will monitor processes, develop production dashboards, and share knowledge across teams to optimize future tenders and projects. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Metocean, Operations, Geotech, and hydrodynamics, while maintaining a big-picture view and

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree minimum; MSc preferred in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong interest in mechanical systems.
• Able to work well in a tender team and independently.
• Investigative, creative, structured and flexible approach to work.
• Excellent command of English.
• Willingness to work on projects worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyse large amounts of project data.
• Support tender and project teams in both tendering and implementation.
• Design efficient and competitive production processes including equipment and logistics, with complex interdependencies.
• Use and develop internal software for production estimates.
• Prepare and present deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
• Visit projects and offshore equipment to monitor processes and advise on optimisations.
• Record and share practical knowledge to improve future tenders and projects.
