Job description

Booking.com is building a scalable, privacy-compliant, and intelligent travel media platform that we call BKNG Ads. The foundations created by this team will determine how quickly we can launch new capabilities, how effectively campaigns run, how safely data is activated, and how much leverage our teams can get from the tools they use. In this role, you will help turn a complex set of platforms and workflows into a coherent product ecosystem that can support Booking Ads growth.

The BKNG AdTech team builds the capabilities that power BKNG Ads as a scalable travel media business. We connect ad-serving, audience, data, measurement, workflow, and operational tools so that campaigns can be delivered effectively and new advertising capabilities can be built quickly.

Your work sits at the intersection of product, engineering, data, commercial operations, privacy, and external technology providers. You create the foundations that enable better targeting, measurement, automation, operational efficiency, and future commercial opportunities across BKNG Ads.

As Senior Product Manager, BKNG AdTech, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for the integrated tools, workflows and capabilities that make BKNG Ads faster, more scalable, and more effective.

You will think and act beyond just Booking.com, building the enabling AdTech capabilities that support Priceline and Agoda's advertising initiatives.

You will connect systems and teams to create capabilities that individual tools cannot provide on their own. You will identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve campaign delivery, activate data safely, and build reusable foundations for future products and partnerships.

This role is ideal for a product leader who enjoys working across a complex ecosystem of ad technology, data, engineering, commercial operations, privacy, and external vendors. You do need to understand how these areas fit together and make sound product decisions across their interfaces.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Product strategy, delivery, and leadership
  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for BKNG AdTech capabilities, prioritizing high-value opportunities that balance business goals, technical effort, and operational impact.
  • Drive discovery by gathering insights from stakeholders and users to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Define requirements and success metrics, making informed build-versus-buy decisions in partnership with Engineering.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and risks across Product, Ads Data, AdOps, Commercial, Legal, and external vendors.
  • Validate outcomes through experimentation, communicating progress and strategic learnings clearly to senior leadership.
  • Lead AdTech product direction across affected crafts (Engineering, AdOps, Commercial, Legal etc), aligning teams around a shared strategy and clear priorities.
  • Represent the AdTech strategy in BKNG Ads planning and prioritisation forums.
Data, targeting, measurement, privacy and operational effectiveness
  • Partner with Engineering to enable privacy-safe audience activation, targeting and measurement.
  • Establish product foundations that support future data partnerships and evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, consent, and privacy are integrated by design into all product decisions.
  • Collaborate with specialists on optimisation and modelling where they deliver meaningful value.
  • Partner with AdOps to understand operational pain points and ensure the tools they use are fit for purpose, effective and scalable. Work together to improve workflows, quality controls, and reporting and observability across campaign set up and delivery.
  • Support consistent adoption of new tools and workflows through clear requirements, rollout plans, documentation and feedback loops. Rationalise fragmented workflows and tools into coherent systems that drive business value at scale.
  • Define how ad servers, data and measurement systems work together to build impactful, scalable capabilities.
Commercial and financial enablement
  • Work with Commercial and other product teams to understand the capabilities required to support advertiser value and future propositions.
  • Enable data and technology partnerships through strong product and technical foundations.
  • Understand downstream billing, reconciliation and financial dependencies, partnering with FinTech where billing integration or financial‑system changes are required; billing integration is owned by the FinTech team.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in ad tech, travel media, martech, and data platforms
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Management role, working with engineers, prioritising business problems, and owning road‑maps for your team(s).
  • Experience integrating vendors, platforms and data systems in strict compliance and regulatory environments.
  • Experience working with data activation, measurement, monetisation, and privacy technologies in the advertising space.
  • Product leader with experience owning complex AdTech/MarTech platforms and data‑enabled integrations, comfortable navigating the combination of business goals, engineering realities and day‑to‑day operations.
  • Strong prioritiser, using qualitative and quantitative insights to drive strategy in ambiguous or high growth environments.
  • Collaborative builder of trust and alignment with diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilled translator of complex technical or business topics into clear actionable requirements.
  • Privacy‑literate, with a solid grasp of consent, data governance and regulatory requirements.
