Job summary

Marie-Stella-Maris, based in Amsterdam, is seeking a Senior Product Development Manager to lead end-to-end product development from concept through production. You will translate concepts into technically feasible products, manage timelines and budgets, and collaborate with Sourcing, Supply Chain, Brand, Sales, and external partners to ensure launch readiness.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in product development, R&D or technical product development within beauty/personal care/home fragrance or related consumer goods industry.
• Demonstrated experience owning products through the full development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of formulation development, packaging development, testing and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working directly with manufacturers, laboratories, packaging suppliers and other external development partners.
• A good understanding of product quality, regulatory requirements and technical feasibility within beauty and/or home categories.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple complex development timelines simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English.

• Lead the full product development process within specific categories, from concept through production and launch.
• Translate briefs into clear technical requirements for suppliers and development partners.
• Drive development timelines hands-on, ensuring milestones are met before production.
• Identify development risks and bottlenecks early and proactively drive solutions.
