Job summary

PwC Nederland is hiring for a senior Delivering Deal Value professional. You will lead pre‑deal engagements, act as the principal client contact, and collaborate with Partners to guide deals from LOI to final bid.

You’ll bring deep financial acumen, sector depth in one or more operations domains, and a track record of managing multi‑person engagements. The role requires 8+ years in deals advisory or related fields, excellent English skills, and Dutch language appreciation.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch language skills are appreciated.
• 8+ years of relevant experience across deals advisory, operational performance improvement, corporate M&A or a senior operations role.
• Proven record of leading several engagement teams and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple pre‑deal engagements in parallel, owning scope, approach, quality and delivery for each.
• Serve as the client’s main contact, translating complex analysis into clear answers for deal teams and investment professionals.
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors, involving them at key moments and ensuring their input lands where it counts.
• Bring depth in one or more core operational functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement, Sales).
• Critically review team output, challenge assumptions and defend conclusions.
• Spot opportunities for scope extensions and new engagements.
• Build a network in the market to stay close to deal flow and opportunities.
• Coach and develop Associates, Senior Associates and Managers.
