Job summary

PwC Nederland’s Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team leads operational due diligence and value creation for corporate and private equity clients in the Netherlands. Expect exposure to top-tier PE projects, international teams, and real impact on deal outcomes.

You will join an inclusive advisory team focusing on identifying gaps, quantifying savings, and driving short- and long-term value realization across pre- and post-deal phases.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in (deals) consulting, operational performance improvement, corporate M&A teams, COO support roles or specialized operations consulting.
• University degree in Business Administration, Science, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
• Solid understanding of core operational functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement, Sales).
• Fluent in English; professional level of Dutch is highly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational gaps at leading businesses and provide recommendations that drive value creation.
• Develop implementation plans and quantify savings using a driver-based approach and industry benchmarking data.
• Drive transformation initiatives with a focus on short- and long-term value realization.
• Manage client relationships at both executive and operational level throughout all project phases.
• Contribute to our core services: Operational Due Diligence, Pre-deal Value Creation, and Carve-out support.

Join our Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team within PwC's Deals practice — the most successful deals practice in the Netherlands. You'll work on operational due diligence and value creation projects for corporate and private equity clients, in a diverse and international team. You'll gain direct exposure to top-tier PE clients, a global network, and challenging projects where your recommendations directly impact deal outcomes.

This Is What You'll Do

You'll be part of an inclusive, experienced advisory team that supports corporate and private equity firms in identifying, quantifying and delivering full deal value — with greater speed, insight and confidence. You'll work on challenging client assignments in both pre- and post-deal phases, using the latest technology including AI-tools, and grow in an environment where coaching and personal development are central.

Our approach combines industry experience with data analytics and practical sector knowledge. Projects typically start early in the deal cycle and deliver concrete operational upsides that directly influence the deal offer. In your role, you will:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in (deals) consulting, operational performance improvement, corporate M&A teams, COO support roles or specialized operations consulting;
• A university degree in Business Administration, Science, Finance, Engineering or a related discipline;
• Solid understanding of one or more core operational functions (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement, Sales);
• Comfortable working with and interpreting financial information;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; professional level of Dutch is highly appreciated.
